Follies of the Heart
Follies of the Heart is an otome game centered around a princess who is destined to be sacrificed to “The Endless King” to ensure ten more years of peace. On the eve of her fate, her companion, the Jester, presents her with a whimsical proposal to run away together, challenging her acceptance of her destiny.
The demo features the “sacrifice” route, which includes two endings, two character graphics (CGs), and approximately 7,400 words of content, providing around 40-55 minutes of gameplay. Future plans for the full game include an “escape” route with two additional endings, a total of 44 more CGs, outfit changes for the princess, more expressive sprites for the Jester, a CG gallery, and various enhancements to the game’s interface and text.
