Ookami Okami is an otome (a romance visual novel with a female protagonist and male love interests) currently being developed by an Indonesian indie developer, Mushroomallow Studio. Play as a once-elderly innkeeper reborn as a beautiful youkai (Japanese spirit), navigating the Spirit Realm through interactive point-and-click gameplay and meaningful choices throughout the story. With charming Japanese aesthetics, fascinating youkai folklore, and a slow-burn romance with a mysterious White Tiger god, Ookami Okami invites players into a dramatic and immersive fantasy world unlike any other.

Characters
Shimon
He is the main and only love interest and is the White Tiger God (Byakko) in the spirit realm. Divine and wounded, he hides behind a mask he vowed never to lower—until Akine enters his life.
Akine
You will be playing as Akine. She’s bold, witty, and dangerously persistent; she’s fully prepared to shatter anyone’s emotional stability with one well-placed smirk.
Demo Features:
- Dialogue options: The demo doesn’t have multiple endings, but your choices will influence the full game. See different sides of Shimon, the White Tiger god, depending on the choices you make.
- CG Cuts: The demo highlights key moments with expressive CGs that elevate the narrative experience.
- Map Exploration: Player can use the map to visit the inn’s areas/rooms. Some areas are not yet accessible in the demo.
- Point & Click Minigames: The demo includes point & click minigames of cleaning areas and exorcising ghosts.
About the Developers
Mushroomallow is an indie studio based in Bandung, Indonesia. Some visual novels and games developed by the studio received an award (EDDA cafe & Wonder Wandelier) and nominations (EDDA cafe, Kohana & Tales of Grumville: A Legendary Pie and A Nameless Statue). Mushroomallow aims to create video games and visual novels with ~immaculate~ vibe and narrative.
