How to Upgrade Eurekas
1. Unlock the Eureka System
Before you can start upgrading your Eurekas, you’ll need to unlock the feature by finishing the main story quest called “Power Outage Rescue.” Once you’ve done that, just hop into your Pear-Pal and head to the Eureka tab—it’ll be waiting for you there.
2. Gather Necessary Materials
Upgrading Eurekas requires specific materials:
- Shining Particles: Primarily obtained from the Mira Journey Battle Pass, starting at Level 14 and appearing every five levels thereafter.
- Bling – This one’s easy. It’s your everyday in-game currency that you’ll naturally collect as you explore and play through the game.
- Duplicate Eurekas – Got extras of the same Eureka? Don’t toss them—those lower-star ones can actually be used as materials to boost your better Eurekas.
3. Upgrade Process
Within the Eureka tab:
- Select the Eureka you wish to upgrade.
- Click the “Upgrade” button.
- Add the required materials (Shining Particles, Bling, or duplicate Eurekas).
- Confirm the upgrade to increase the Eureka’s level.
You can level up each Eureka all the way to 10, and with each upgrade, it’ll boost the style attributes it gives you—making a real difference when you’re trying to win those styling challenges.
Changing Eureka Colors
Once your Eureka hits Level 10, its color may change—kind of like a surprise makeover that gives it a fresh, eye-catching look.
- The color change is random and cannot be selected manually.
- Some players aim for the rare “Iridescent” color variant, which is purely cosmetic but highly sought after.
If you’re after a specific color, you might need to collect a few duplicates and level them up one by one—fingers crossed you get the look you’re going for!
Tips for Efficient Upgrading
- Focus on High-Star Eurekas: If you’ve got 4-star or 5-star Eurekas, those are the ones to pour your resources into. They’ve got better stats and a higher chance of giving you those gorgeous color changes.
- Recycle the Lower-Star Ones: Don’t feel bad about using your 3-star Eurekas as upgrade material. They’re perfect for boosting your stronger ones and help you save those precious Shining Particles.
- Be Smart with Your Resources: Shining Particles are pretty limited, so it’s a good idea to plan ahead. Sometimes farming extra Eurekas and using them for upgrades is the way to go.

If you want to expand your Eureka collection, consider the following:
- Realm of Eureka: Dive into those obstacle course domains! They’re a fun challenge, and you’ll earn Eureka Shards along the way, which you can trade in for brand-new Eurekas.
- Mira Level Rewards: As you level up your Mira Rank, you’ll hit milestones that unlock special Eurekas. It’s a nice little bonus for just playing the game consistently.
- Main Story Quests: Keep pushing through the story! Some Eurekas are tied to specific quests, so the more you progress, the more chances you’ll have to snag new ones.
