If you have spent any time in Life Makeover, you know how quickly your resources can disappear. One minute you are flying through Story Quests, upgrading outfits, and bonding with your allies, and the next you are staring at an empty Energy bar and wondering where all your Gold went. I have been there too, and trust me, nothing kills the momentum faster than running out of what you need right when you are on a roll. That is why learning how to manage your Energy, Gold, and Ally EXP Keys makes such a big difference. In this guide, I will walk you through exactly what these resources do, the best ways to get more of them, and how to spend them wisely so you can keep progressing without hitting that frustrating wall.

Energy: Fueling Your Gameplay

Energy is your lifeline in Life Makeover. You will need it for Story Quests and plenty of other activities. It regenerates on its own over time, but there is also a nice bonus if you know when to grab it.

You can claim extra Energy twice a day from the Energy tab in the Bonus menu:

  • Weekdays: 30 Energy between 05:05–14:00 UTC+0, and another 60 Energy between 15:00–23:55 UTC+0.
  • Weekends: Both time slots give you 60 Energy each, so it is basically a little weekend treat.

Smart Strategy Tips

  • Set a quick reminder or alarm in your phone (remember, times are in UTC+0) so you never miss those claim windows.
  • Try to log in for both time slots. You will be surprised how much extra Energy you will rack up over the week.
  • Do not burn through Energy on just anything. Save it for stages that give you the best rewards or help you progress faster.

Gold: The Everyday Currency

How You Earn Gold

Gold is the currency you will use for almost everything in Life Makeover. You will spend it on buying fashion, upgrading allies, processing decomposed items, and much more. Luckily, it is not too hard to earn if you make a habit of it.

You can pick up Gold from almost every part of the game, including:

  • Daily and weekly schedules, vitality exchanges, sign-ins, and level-up gifts
  • Invites, referral packs, push packs, events, guild welfare, goals, and story quests

You can also get Gold from Red Packets in Lightchase-style events. These packets can drop Gold along with other rewards like Ally EXP Keys and Energy, so it is always worth checking them.

Best Practices

  • Make a routine of logging in every day, finishing your missions, and keeping an eye on your mailbox for Red Packets.
  • Focus on modes or stages that give you Gold and other important resources at the same time.
  • Do not let Gold pile up without purpose. Put it into ally upgrades or valuable design items that will help you progress over time.

Ally EXP Keys: Powering Up Your Allies

What They Do

Ally EXP Keys are your main tool for leveling up allies. They come in three types: Key I gives around 25 EXP, Key II gives about 150 EXP, and Key III gives roughly 350 EXP. Using them will help you boost an ally’s Fashion Rating, Intimacy, and Evolution, as well as unlock special stories and rewards.

How to Earn Them

You can find Ally EXP Keys in lots of different places. Story quests, Thought Waltz, daily missions, guild inspiration, fashion codes, share and referral rewards, and certain packs in the Mall are all good sources.

Red Packets during Lightchase events sometimes contain Key I along with other handy resources, so do not skip them.

If you want a faster boost, you can buy packs in the Mall like the “Weekly Ally EXP Pack,” which contains multiple Key IIIs. It costs premium currency, but it is a reliable shortcut if you are willing to spend.

Upgrade Opportunities

When you upgrade your allies, you will earn Starlight Coins. These can be spent at the Ally Shop (also called the Upgrade Shop) on exclusive fashion items, poses, furniture, and more.

Suggestions

  • Focus your EXP Keys on allies that match common stage themes so you get the best Fashion Rating results.
  • Use Red Packet drops from events as free boosts for ally growth.
  • Think about Mall EXP packs only if you are aiming for a specific upgrade and the timing lines up with a good promotion.

Final Takeaways

Managing your resources in Life Makeover does not have to feel overwhelming. By logging in every day to grab your Energy during both UTC+0 claim windows, mixing up your daily activities, and keeping an eye out for event rewards like Red Packets, you will build up a steady supply of what you need. Focus on strengthening your best allies with your EXP Keys, and when it comes to spending Gold or buying packs from the Mall, do it with a clear goal so you get the most out of your investment. With a little consistency and smart planning, you will always have the Energy, Gold, and Ally EXP on hand to take on whatever challenges the game throws at you.
