Tame Me (demo)
You come to your senses in someone else’s bed and your whole body aches. You hope that your savior will be a kind person. However, the stranger turns out to be much less friendly than you expected.
I just checked out this new otome game called A Loop Apart, and it’s got such a unique twist on the typical romance story! Imagine being a regular art student, then suddenly finding yourself at a concert, only to be zapped back to a week ago. Yep, that’s the wild premise here, and it just gets more intriguing from there.
In A Loop Apart, you’re caught in a mysterious time loop. One moment you’re enjoying a concert, and the next you’re thrown back in time, trying to figure out what’s happening. The city setting is lively and full of mystery with strange disappearances and power surges adding to the suspense. You need to solve the puzzle before you get stuck in this loop forever. And of course, falling in love along the way makes things even more complicated! The demo gives you a taste of the time-loop scenario with about 20k words worth of content.

The game introduces five unique love interests, each with their own personality and story arc. There’s Arlan, the shy Physics major who’s socially awkward but super smart. Then there’s Lay, the carefree jokester who brings some light-hearted moments amidst all the tension. If you like bold characters, Jillian is your edgy best friend with purple hair and a confident flair. On the serious side, Detective Tag is investigating the campus disappearances with his intense presence. Finally, there’s Lucero, the mysterious frontman of the concert band who has an unsettling aura about him. Each character not only adds depth to your personal journey but also ties into unraveling the overarching mystery.
The game is still in development, so some art assets are placeholders for now, but it’s already got some cool features. You can name your main character (MC), which adds a nice personal touch. The journal feature lets you keep track of your weekly schedule and entries anytime, perfect for those who love diving deep into story details. Choices really matter here; they shape how your relationships develop and lead to multiple endings for each love interest, both good and bad! Plus, it has original music that sets the mood perfectly.

Overall, A Loop Apart offers an engaging mix of romance and mystery with its time-loop mechanic keeping you on your toes. Even though it’s still in development, it promises an exciting narrative with plenty of interactive choices to make each playthrough unique. If you’re into stories that blend love stories with intriguing mysteries, this might just be your next favorite otome game! For specs, features, and more info, visit the game page here.
